Testimonials
Easily the best Indian food in the city, and just generally my go-to restaurant in the Mission. The sauces are a party of spices in your mouth, and the meat is perhaps the most tender you can find anywhere. My personal favorite is the Lamb Korma, but you're also missing out if you don't try a spicier Vindaloo or Rogan Josh. And the staff will tell you that the Tandoor Oven is the best thing going. Frankly, I doubt any dish will disappoint.

We've been here hundreds of times. My boyfriend used to live literally next door to this joint, so this is our go-to place for quality Indian food, great service, local neighborhood spot.. the list goes on!
Highlights:
- Alsam's son Asif is one of the warmest, most engaging, most wonderful people we've met in the city.
- Goat Cheese Naan, Garlic Naan
- Lamb Korma, Tandoori Prawns
- Chimay on tap - need I say more? :)

The food is authentic and incredibly flavorful. The colors pop off the plates. Steamy spices waft about you before, during and after your meal. This restaurant is sure to please for a night out intended to entertain friends or just relax after a long week. You probably will order too much, but the left overs are worth just as much as making it out to 1037 Valencia Street.

We eat at Aslam's probably once a month. The korma sauce is really, really good (even better for leftovers the next day), the service is lovely (Asif is the NICEST), and there's now a totally decent beer selection. I am always so happy to come to Aslam's -- it's like going to an old friend's place.

This is the best Indian food in SF, hands down. My girlfriend and I have cravings for Mr. Aslam's food! The flavors are so distinctive, each single dish has its own story to tell. Aside from the food everyone there is so nice it really feels like you're stepping into their living room. For amazing Indian/Pakistani food in SF this is the place to be!
